CSEEES compiles brochures with information on UNC courses that span disciplines and topics related to East Europe, Russia, and Eurasia. Among a variety of departments represented, students can choose from courses such as “Stalin and After: The USSR, 1929-Present,” “Transnationalism, Globalisms, and the Geographies of Pan-Europe,” and “Mystery and Suspense in Russian Literature.” The Department of Germanic & Slavic Languages and Literatures also offers language courses from fast-paced Russian conversation classes to elementary and intermediate Czech, Polish, and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
