CSEEES compiles brochures with information on UNC courses that span disciplines and topics related to East Europe, Russia and Eurasia. Among other offerings, students can choose from courses such as “Stalin and After: The USSR, 1929-Present,” “Transnationalism, Globalisms, and the Geographies of Pan-Europe,” and “Mystery and Suspense in Russian Literature.” The Department of Germanic & Slavic Languages and Literatures also offers language courses from fast-paced Russian conversation classes to elementary Czech, Polish and Serbian and Croatian.
