Polish Week • Celebrating Polish Studies at UNC

March 28, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Come hang out and learn how to get involved with Polish studies at UNC! This event aims to bring together the wider Polish-learning community of UNC and encourage others to see the opportunities and resources that UNC has to offer to those interested in studying the language and Poland broadly. Current undergraduate and graduates students will share their study abroad and fieldwork experiences in addition to presentations by UNC alumni on how knowledge of Polish has supported their professional careers.

The evening will be accompanied by a sampling of various Polish specialities such as kielbasa, Polish cheeses, Easter cakes and, of course, pierogi!

For more info, please contact the event organizer Kristina Juergensmeyer (kgjuerg@live.unc.edu)

This event is part of the Polish Week at UNC (March 26-29), co-sponsored by the Center for Slavic, Eurasian, and East European Studies, Carolina Center for Jewish Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, Center for European Studies, Department of German and Slavic Languages and Literatures, Department of History, Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, Department of Music, and the Program in Global Cinema Studies.
